Meet the Author

Erica Smith, author of Kenzie the Coo and founder of Glenstrae Publishing

After many years of wanting to, but never being quite brave enough, in 2017 I took the plunge after some encouragement from very dear friends, put pen to paper and created the first in a series of Glenstrae Highland Adventures featuring the loveable character Kenzie the Coo (a Highland cattle calf, known in Scots as a Heilan coo).

Inspired by the antics of my own coos (Highland Cattle), which I breed and show in Victoria, Australia, the Glenstrae Highland Adventures hope to entertain and educate young children around the world.

The first adventure, ‘Kenzie in search of a friend’ was released early 2018.
